Senior Product Sourcing & Development Specialist
Current- Assessing and selecting suppliers through desktop review and audits when appropriate, while also building and maintaining a strong partnership network with current suppliers.- Ensuring that new vendors have executed Non-Disclosure Agreements and Supplier Agreements, prior to the disclosure of product information and artwork details.- Ensuring suppliers’ compliance with product specifications and terms/conditions outlined in the quotes and purchase orders.- Quoting and negotiating with qualified suppliers.- Co-ordinating sourcing/product development/procurement activities with our US team on quotation as well as execution phases. - Conducting quality assurance activities throughout the entire product development process. Additionally, providing feedback and comments on samples in close collaboration with the US team- Communicating with management level around challenges within category and managing corresponding mitigation plans to recover.- Serving as the team lead for a group of 3-4 members responsible for product development and issue resolution at the China office.
