I am a full time learning experience designer and researcher for the UCLA Simulation Center and UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. My focus is on virtual simulations which are used to train medical students and healthcare professionals on various scenarios and procedures. I am currently helping conduct research into cutting edge advancements in the field of medical simulation, such as virtual reality, mixed reality, and large language models.In my spare time, I am a prolific freelance artist and have a multitude of different skills. I am an animator, graphic designer, game developer, video editor, and web designer. I have produced popular animated shorts, commercials, and title sequences for a wide variety of high profile clients in the academic, entertainment, and corporate field. My graphic designs have made the cover of the journal Nature and were featured in numerous published academic studies.Previously, I was an instructional design, video production specialist and video editor with UCLA, and was the lead and supervising animator on pilot episodes for two animated TV shows.
