Mr. Weiss is responsible for leading corporate accounting/financial activities, including external SEC and regulatory reporting, internal financial statements and board reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, federal and state taxes, treasury management, data analytics and business intelligence, profitability and investor relations. Mr. Weiss has managed the financial/accounting aspects and closing/conversion process of six major WesBanco acquisitions in thirteen years; from $5.5 billion in assets to $17 billion currently, including regulatory filing assistance and design of post-acquisition financial strategies and cost reductions, capital-raising, mark-to-market calculations and core deposit intangible determination. In addition, he is responsible for capital markets including preferred stock offerings, share buyback/issuance programs and dividend recommendations. He also manages the transfer agent relationship with Computershare and issuance of shares for acquisitions and benefit-plan related share activity, along with the Company’s DRIP plan.Mr. Weiss has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Slippery Rock University in Western PA where he earned the Summa Cum Laude Medallion as a top graduate in the School of Business. He is currently president and board chairman of WesBanco Asset Management and currently serving as Vice President of the MGYB organization. He is a member of the AICPA and past member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Financial Executives International, among various other engagements.

The Corporate Controller manages all accounting functions for WesBanco Inc. (a $16+ billion bank with 200+ branch locations spread over 6 states and publicly traded on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol: WSBC). Responsibilities include overall supervision of all external and internal financial reporting, SEC reporting, regulatory reporting, investment portfolio accounting as well as accounts payable and all general ledger functions.Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at WesBanco, Inc., I joined the WesBanco team in 2008, after having served in public accounting at Deloitte. Since joining WesBanco over 12 years ago, the company has grown more than 300% thru both organic growth and M&A activity, now with over $16.5 billion in assets and a 200+ branch network. Throughout the years I have been fortunate to work alongside great people and have demonstrated success in navigating teams under my supervision thru changing times including two recessions and six acquisitions, while developing staff along the way, building the foundation for long-term success and stability within the Finance function.

Core responsibilities include supervising and directing accounting staff for an $8.2 Billion financial institution.
