CurrentMr. Weiss is responsible for leading corporate accounting/financial activities, including external SEC and regulatory reporting, internal financial statements and board reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, federal and state taxes, treasury management, data analytics and business intelligence, profitability and investor relations. Mr. Weiss has managed the financial/accounting aspects and closing/conversion process of six major WesBanco acquisitions in thirteen years; from $5.5 billion in assets to $17 billion currently, including regulatory filing assistance and design of post-acquisition financial strategies and cost reductions, capital-raising, mark-to-market calculations and core deposit intangible determination. In addition, he is responsible for capital markets including preferred stock offerings, share buyback/issuance programs and dividend recommendations. He also manages the transfer agent relationship with Computershare and issuance of shares for acquisitions and benefit-plan related share activity, along with the Company’s DRIP plan.Mr. Weiss has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Slippery Rock University in Western PA where he earned the Summa Cum Laude Medallion as a top graduate in the School of Business. He is currently president and board chairman of WesBanco Asset Management and currently serving as Vice President of the MGYB organization. He is a member of the AICPA and past member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of Financial Executives International, among various other engagements.
