Project experience includes:• EARTHQUEST Biological Field School, Cavendish Park, London, Ontario and Pinecroft Forest, Aylmer, Ontario, Catalogued and documented all flora and fauna species, implementing various census/survey techniques, including Ecological Land Classificatiion (ELC) and Point Count surveys of birds, and amphibian monitoring surveys.• Botanical Inventory of Glencolin Tract, Aylmer, Ontario, in association with Earthquest Canada for the Environment and Catfish Creek Conservation Authority, Independently surveyed a 40 acre tract of forest over a period of a week documenting all flora species, specifically searching for any Species at Risk that may exist in a large enough population that would possibly modify proposed logging operations of the Glencolin Tract. Produced a list of over 225 vascular plant species including one Species at Risk - American Chestnut (Castanea dentata) and one species previously unrecorded for Elgin County – Scots Elm (Ulmus glabra).• Biological Inventory of the Bruce Trail, Owen Sound and Cape Chin, Ontario, in association with Earthquest Canada for the Environment and the Bruce Trail Project, Independently surveyed all flora species existing on approximately 60 kilometers of Bruce Trail that was previously unevaluated by Earthquest Canada for the Bruce Trail Project. Worked and camped in remote areas for 11 days. Produced a list of over 30 plants new to the Bruce Trail Project along with 4 regionally rare plants, 3 of which were previously unrecorded for the counties of Grey and Bruce.
