CurrentI work as an employment specialist for the HSE, where I work with people who have experienced mental health issues in the past, such as depression and anxiety and support them back into employment, with ongoing support for both employee and employer after they secure a job IPS, which stands for Individual Placement and Support, is an evidence based highly successful approach which matches the right candidate to the right job, based on their skills, strengths and work experience. It's a completely free service and employers are often able to avail of a government wage subsidy scheme. It's a mental health community based initiative for organizations' that wish to increase diversity and inclusivity amongst its workforce, in addition to boosting their corporate social responsibility.
