Born into family as son, brother and unfulfilled potential, my parents didn't know if I was an accident or just a bad decision. Nonetheless, I've made it this far and developed into a functioning human being who's quite handy with a pen. I am now a copywriter / content editor at Agency Central Ltd and am responsible for blog writing, content management and creating SEO friendly copy. I'm still developing as a writer and I'm constantly growing my knowledge of recruitment, SEO...and being a human being.My enthusiasm for writing was sparked whilst studying English Language (A-level) at Lymm High School. This eventually took me to Leeds Metropolitan University, where I went on to graduate with a 2:1 degree in Journalism. This course provided an array of writing and communication skills, enabling me to feel comfortable whether creating colourful online copy or a serious news piece.During my time at university, I acquired some valuable content writing experience at Prohibition PR - a digital PR agency in Leeds. This taught me skills in online writing, research and tailoring content for different audiences. It was during this period that I also started to gain an insight into social media and SEO. I also attained experience as a social media executive at Altrincham FC. I have a keen interest in sports journalism and really valued the two years that I was associated with the club. I was responsible for the live match Twitter feed and also spent some time writing reports for the match day programme. This allowed me to produce content about a subject that I was really passionate about, as well as honing my skills in social media and audience engagement.All of this has now taken me to Agency Central, an online resource that enables employers and professionals to connect with recruitment agencies in their industry.
