Duties include part process development. Designing of the fixture/work-holding components for horizontal and vertical machining centers using Solidworks. This includes tombstone/pallet design and implementation. Designing of special tooling. Purchasing of all components. Machining of the work-holding components. Setup sheet development. Develop work instructions. Programming all aspects of the projects using Mastercam. Setup and run-through of the new projects to get 1st article. Train and work closely with the machine operators to assure smooth operation during the run.Extensive experience with turning centers. Process development and programming. Experience with multi turret/axis lathes with live tooling.
