My responsibilities are to deliver kitchens and bedroom furniture to customers home address on behalf of B&Q. Before departing on my route, I'm required to complete my vehicle checks and report any safety issues. I'm expected to deliver the goods on time, safely and professionally, navigating through residential streets, working as a two man crew. The items are delivered using pallets and have to be unloaded using the vehicle's tail lift. The items are then taken into the customers home address and placed in a room of their choice.

My responsibilities were to deliver chilled and frozen goods, using Class 2 vehicles (18t & 26t) to retailers like, Londis, Nisa, One stop, Etc. Which include deliveries to petrol forcounts. Before departing on my route, I'm required to complete my vehicle checks and report any safety issues. I'm expected to deliver the goods on time, safely and professionally. I also have the responsibility to deliver the goods at the required temperatures. The items are delivered using cages and have to be unloaded and loaded by myself using the vehicle's tail lift. Some retailers require assisted handball. Which means items have to be manually removed from the cages and taken into the stores. When I returned to the DC, I was required to unload my vehicle of empty cages and fuel up for the next driver, before reporting to the Transport office for debrief.

My main responsibilities were picking customer orders using a PUP (Person up platform). I would be required to enter the racking and pick up to 12 meters high. I was also trained to operate reach trucks within Amazon when required, again picking palletised goods of the racking up to 12 meters high.I would support the (L&D) Learning & development, by being an instructor. I would support & develop associates that were new to the business or existing associates that were struggling with certain aspects and help them become better. I would also support the Packing, ICQA & Shipping department when required. When I was supporting ICQA (Inventory control quality assurance) this would mean stock take to anyone else. When I was supporting shipping it would require me to stack customer orders onto a pallet, then wrap the pallet, then load the pallet on the designated trailer.

My responsibilities were to collect people's recycling from their front gate and load it onto the back of the truck. Whilst I was on the back of the truck I would have to sort through the box and separate materials into bins.

My responsibilities were picking and packing. I had targets to achieve when I was packing, depending on what I was packing e.g CD, books I would have to pack 60 an hour, so I only had one minute for each package to reach my target. With regards to picking, again depending on what I was picking, targets were around the same.

My responsibilities were serving customers, stocking shelves, facing up and cleaning. After three months I was assigned as a warehouse assistant. My duties were to offload the morning delivery, then check the stock and quantities received against the manifest, before sending it down to the shop floor, to be placed on the shelves ready for sale.
