About Dan Woolley
I co-design and manage projects / programmes for organisations that seek to make the world a better place. I combine a creative energy with a practical, process-driven approach. I am an excellent communicator with an analytical mind and an eye for detail. I have experience working across many sectors – charity, social enterprise, start-up and commercial – for a large variety of organisations. This enables me to develop and maintain excellent client relationships, for example when forging links between business and charity. Throughout my career, I have always endeavoured to do more than my role required: to contribute to the internal strength of an organisation through improving processes, and through constantly seeking new opportunities for projects and partnerships. I also place a strong emphasis on team wellbeing and in maintaining a positive, rewarding and celebratory working culture. I recently managed a team of 7 people as part of a £1-million, three year programmed funded by the National Lottery, which was completed to a high standard, on time and on budged. I currently work closely with 1 direct report. I am always happy to prioritise coaching and supporting my team, and take great pride in seeing them develop.Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do, whether externally (building effective partnerships) or internally (working closely with my team). I thrive as part of a team of like-minded individuals, but I am equally productive when left to focus. Having worked as a freelancer for over 1.5 years, I have acquired the drive to self-manage and self-motivate.
Listed skills include Management, Project Management, Public Speaking, Strategic Planning, and 3 others.

Consultant, Advisor, Strategist, Researcher, Fundraiser And Programme Manager
I thrive on working with charities, community groups, social enterprises and co-ops. For organisations that need direct assistance, I offer tailored support at every stage of development (setting up an organisation, developing a theory of change, business planning, choosing the right structure for your organisation, business planning and fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, report writing). I also work with larger organisations – clients such as charitable foundations, local authorities, public bodies and more. My consultancy services cover project management, research, developing strategies and more
Head Of Fundraising
Senior Project Manager
My role as Senior Project Manager involves managing a varied portfolio of projects and campaigns, each of which involves working with clients/partners (usually from the corporate sector) to design and deliver targeted support to local communities. The three campaigns I am currently managing include: a grant-funding campaign, providing financial support to community groups adapting or responding to Coronavirus; an employee-volunteering campaign (combining hands-on and skilled / pro bono volunteering); an education-based campaign that connects local businesses to schools in their area, and provides a framework for career talks, work experience placements and mentoring schemes.I am also part of Semble’s Business Development team, where my primary focus is developing partnerships with charities and non-profits, and identifying and leading on opportunities for bespoke grant-funded projects. I am working closely with Semble’s chief executive to develop an overall fundraising strategy.
Head Of Pilot Programmes
Gleaning Manager
Very proud to work at Feedback where I lead the Gleaning Network UK programme, working with volunteers, food producers (especially farmers and growers) and a wide network of organisations to prevent, reduce and redistribute surplus food. It’s a varied, challenging and very rewarding role, incorporating strategy, delivery, volunteer outreach and recruitment, coalition building, managing relations with funders, and so much more.
Operations, Business Development And Supply Chain Consultant
It is an honour to work with Soda Folk's founder, Ken, and be given the opportunity of helping to develop the company. Starting from scratch, we have created a whole supply chain, developed a dynamic brand and strong (still growing) business, brought new products to market and carved space in a crowded field.
