I support the South Zone Medical Affairs (SZMA) team to improve the quality of SZMA services through improved communication, decision making, strategic alignment and engagement with our partners. As a member of the SZMA department, a primary aim is to review the processes and tools that support the compliance with AHS Medical Staff Bylaws and Regulations. The position includes creating linkages with similar planning and coordination roles within the broader provincial Medical Affairs Program, through gathering evidence, undertaking environmental scans, and collecting and synthesizing data as it relates to specific projects and initiatives to support the development of recommendations.

Working with the Executive Director, EZ Surgical Services, EZ Trauma Program, EZ MDRD, Surgical Services RAH, MDRD RAH and UAH, I provide leadership in the strategic design, implementation and evaluation of health service projects and initiatives for the EZ Trauma Program, EZ Surgical Services and EZ MDRD portfolios. I have accountability to provide multifaceted support to the to the EZ Trauma Program, EZ Surgical Services and EZ MDRD with aligned involvement in program, site, zone, sector and provincial work. Development of EZ programming across 5 AHS facilities and 2 Covenant facilities in conjunction with the Department of Surgery for EZ Trauma Program, EZ Surgical Services and EZ MDRD.
