    Research assistant: An Integrated and Automated Electronic System for Point-of-care Protein Testing (Sponsored by Analog Devices, Inc., Maxim Integrated and Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research) (Sep. 2012 to Dec. 2019) • Worked on the project independently and reported to industrial collaborators • Developed a bead-based electrochemical immunoassay on an integrated microfluidics and built an end-to-end mathematical model to inform optimization • Developed an electronic system which features microfluidic control and multiplexed amperometry. The amperometric circuit simultaneously measures up to 16 samples with less than 200pA of noise. The control circuit automates the multi-step bead-based assay on microfluidics • Demonstrated automated measurement of protein biomarkers in patient samples with clinically relevant limit of detection and within 25 minutes • First Place Winner of the 41st International Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference Student Paper Competition Soccer Data Collection and Analysis System • $5000 award by MIT Innovation Fund Program • Built probabilistic model to fuse Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals with GPS data from smartphones; implemented particle filtering algorithm with python script; preliminary experimental results showed improvement of 20% when simultaneously tracking 4 smartphones • Demonstrated a UWB-based localization system which allows accurately tracking player positions • Developed algorithms for event detection and statistics analysis from the raw sensor data Teaching Assistant: 2.674/2.675 Micro/Nano Engineering Laboratory (Sept. 2014 to Jan. 2015) • Prepared materials and tested lab setups for a class of 40 students, assisted the professor and the instructor with lab instruction; helped students with their projects including participating in projection discussion and device fabrication; graded the exams
