Currently serving as AVP of Solutions at Sheer Logistics, Dana has significant experience in the transportation industry, most notably spending twelve years as Vice President of Consulting Services for SGI, LLC, a support and services provider for 3PLs, shippers, and freight forwarders. Dana led a team at SGI that provides support and services directly to freight carriers and customers, helping them get the most out of their transportation needs. After a year serving as VP of Yield Management for Worldwide Express, Dana has taken that knowledge learned to Sheer, using that experience to help develop stronger customer and carrier relationshipsDana has 15 years experience in consumer support services, previously as a Sales Account Manager at RH Donnelley (now DexOne) based in Las Vegas, NV. Prior to that, Dana served as Assistant Regional Manager of Premier Marketing and Consulting in Santa Clara, CA, later relocating within the same organization to San Diego, CA. During his four years with PMC, he was responsible for overseeing all sales and customer service teams, and served as part of the management team responsible for expansion to Southern California. Included in previous professional assignments are software development positions with Yahoo! Inc. and Homestead Technologies. Dana earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2001.
