Nerc Cip Compliance
CurrentNERC CIP Compliance Specialist responsible for monitoring, developing, and implementing compliance activities with NERC and SERC standards for Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC and its subsidiaries or affiliates registered with NERC. Track revisions to the NERC CIP Standards and ensure the organization has the appropriate controls in place for compliance with NERC CIP Standards. Design and implement CIP internal controls for NERC CIP-002 through NERC CIP-014 standards’ and implementing oversight activities to ensure evidence is properly documented and stored. Prepare Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets (RSAW) and collect/provide appropriate evidence to show compliance with NERC standards. Design new operational processes and streamline existing processes, including the documentation of related procedures, to support sustainable compliance with NERC standards.Create mitigation plans as appropriate to address compliance gaps, including input into mitigation strategies and approaches; development of Regional Entity approved mitigation schedules. Provide input and assist with the submission of self-reports, self-certifications and other required filings. Prepare Inherent Risk Assessments pre-audit preparation activities, support NERC CIP compliance on-site engagement manager. Provide guidance in the design of internal controls and risk assessment for assigned standards. Provide strategic support to outline the financial and/or operational impact of NERC reliability standards.Implement oversight activities to ensure NERC and SERC Compliance materials are handled expeditiously. Represent Cleco in audit preparation, delivery of evidence and respond to audit data or evidence requests.Provide technical guidance to achieve and maintain compliance with applicable NERC/SERC Standards.
