This includes the management of Mosaic’s Progressive Aboriginal Relations Certification; Mosaic is proudly Canada’s first and only timberland owner to achieve gold-level certification under the PAR program, administered by the Canadian Council of Indigenous Business.

Strategic Natural Resource Consultants is one of the most highly regarded natural resource consulting firms on the West Coast. As the Manager of the Integrated Environmental Management team of ~30 resource professionals, including professional foresters and biologists, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. This included a strong emphasis on people, culture, and team, in addition to project management, client relationships, business development, and strategic planning.

Teaching at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Forestry for the Master of Forest Conservation course, ‘Case Studies in Sustainable Forest Management'. The course looks into management challenges and stakeholder relationships and conflict, based on actual case studies from the forest sector. The course challenges students to apply integrative thinking and interdisciplinary learning, with conceptual materials to recommend solutions to real-world situations.

The Canadian Institute of Forestry is the national voice of forest practitioners. Formed in 1908, the Institute represents foresters, forest technologists and technicians, ecologists, biologists, geographers, educators, scientists and many others with a professional interest in forestry. The Institute’s mission is to provide national leadership in forestry, promote competence among forestry professionals, and foster public awareness of Canadian and international forestry issues.As the Executive Director, I'm responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships and sponsorships within the forest sector; representing the Institute at regional, national and international levels in the relationship with professional associations, and regional, national, and international partners; providing competency training opportunities for forest professionals, and forestry educational and awareness campaigns directed to the general public; and overseeing the financial activities of the Institute.

Responsible for key communications in the Canadian Institute of Forestry's bioenergy profile. Developed, organized and delivered various high-profile workshops, events and tech sessionson relevant, timely and topical forestry themes. Wrote project and funding proposals, media releases, position papers, and articles for the scientific journal, The Forestry Chronicle.

Forests without Borders is a registered charity that worsk with people who wish to restore or improve their forest landscapes for health, security, economy and the environment. With Forests without Borders, I was responsible for the coordinating the FwB Board of Trustees and communicating with international project leaders and regional caucuses across Canada; aiding in the development of a 5-year strategic plan and responsible for delivering on high-level goals; organizing fundraising events; developing quarterly newsletters, article; and maintaining websites, and all active social-media accounts.

Living within the Kayapo village of A'Ukre in the Amazon, I conducted field studies on the socio-economic dynamics and drivers in forest-dependent Indigenous communities in Amazonia. This provided the basis for various papers and articles I wrote on current conservation threats to Kayapo territories. Additionally, I assisted in promotional work for the Kayapo Bracelet Project

Coordinated weekend and March break volleyball camps for groups of children varying in age and skill set. Created and executed practice plans, and communicated goals, motivated players, handled conflict resolution and liaised and coordinated with parents and participants.

Provided guidance and support to applicants from the education sector. Responsible for various clerical and office administration duties, consistent with modern office operations.
