The lead fundraising tactician providing leadership, strategic direction, oversight, and coordination for the Resource Development team. Research grant programs, write funding applications, coordinate and lead the activities of a grant program, as well as, help draft, write and add clinical content to publications. Responsible for managing the volunteer program; recruits, screens, places, insures training is conducted, and supports volunteers in accordance with Medicare and other applicable regulatory agencies, laws, policies, and procedures. .

Worked closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors on Development Plan, Fundraising Policies and Procedures, and implementation of Annual Campaign. Conducted staff and volunteer training; established gift documentation, and acknowledgement process. Planned special fundraising events, and administered grant proposals and reporting.

Overall leadership and management of organizational fundraising, endowment development and donor relationship building. Principal Activities Include:-Give leadership and manage all fundraising efforts for the association;-Plan, organize and direct all aspects of annual support campaigns and efforts in cooperation with the CEO, COO, and Executive Community Directors;-Develop and direct planned giving and endowment program for the association;-Give leadership to the recruiting and training of fundraising volunteers for the campaigns; -In cooperation with the CEO, develop and give staff leadership to a volunteer committee for financial development;-Seek grant opportunities and work with program directors needing funding that fall within grant guidelines;-Responsible for producing printed brochures for all areas of development and donor communications as well as the association's annual report;-High level of community and media relations and involvement conveying YMCA and its mission.

• Campaign Manager Administration of the Chamber’s annual Total Resource Campaign. Responsibilities include Volunteer Recruitment; Training and Management; Marketing; Event Planning; and related Accounting for Billing. • Contribution Solicitation Secure Goods and Services, such as Entertainment, Graphic Design, Printing, Mail Services, Computer Training, Food, Beverage, Awards, etc.• Non-Dues Revenue Solicitation Generate Additional Revenue in the form of Memberships, Advertising, Services, and Lease Opportunities.• Sponsor Recognition Administer Consistent and Appropriate Sponsor Recognition in all Media and PR, and other benefits for Events, Publications, and Web Sponsorships including Programs, Banners, Ribbons, Plaques and Power Point Presentations. • Sponsor Relations and Correspondence Maintaining Positive Relationships through On-going Personal Interaction with Sponsors and Written Correspondence. • Sponsor Documentation Maintaining Electronic and Paper Records of Contracts, Correspondence, Contacts and Sponsor History.• Sponsorship Research and Development Exploring Various Avenues for new Sponsorship Opportunities and Improving Existing Programs. • Planning and Development Culinary Showcase, Sky High Growth Awards, ‘We’re for Business’ Awards Banquet, Employee Council, Chamber Challenge, and Art Committees.• Member Services Serving the Chamber Membership through Customer Service, Advocacy and Events including the Annual Meeting, Business Before and After Hours, Chamber Classic Golf Tournament, Culinary Showcase, Doughnuts and Dialogue-the Breakfast Speaker Series, and the Mega Networking Event.

Grants Administration for state and local; Program Administration including Artists' RoundTable, Artists' Seminar Series, Arts in Education Program and Showcase, and City Council Forum;Urban Trail Coordination and Volunteer Management; and Office Management.
