The goal of Case Management Solutions of Oklahoma is to provide case management services with integrity, empathy, and transparency. Each case and injury are different; Thus, requiring clear and objective communication with the patient, employer, and all parties involved in the case. This integrated approach allows the case manager and patient the ability to effectively navigate the evolving situations that will arise after a life changing acute or catastrophic injury. Collaborating with all parties in a neutral and transparent manner is paramount to effectively providing patients appropriate and timely medical treatment, cost-effective outcomes, while balancing the needs and expectations of all parties involved.

Field and telephonic case management for catastrophic and acute injury workers compensation cases. While primarily court appointed I also work with direct referrals from adjusters on non litigated cases who need immediate medical services initiated post injury. I continue my position as a court appointed certified nurse case manager with the Court of Existing Claims as well as the Workers Compensation Commission. I provide traditional telephonic and field case management services as well as, evaluation for handicap home modifications, handicap vehicle modifications, and medical cost analysis.

Field and telephonic case management for catastrophic workers compensation cases. I am a court appointed certified nurse case manager with the Court of Existing Claims as well as the Workers Compensation Commission. My duties include telephonic and field case management. I also have experience with implementing home and transportation modifications and assist with life care planning services.

My primary position at Valir was in the brain injury and spinal cord injury units with occasional assignments in the orthopedic unit. The nursing staff collaborated with the occupational, physical, and speech therapy disciplines to provide continuity of care and meet the patients needs. I began my employment with Valir as an LPN, while completing RN school. After completion of school I transitioned to an RN position in the orthopedic, brain injury, and spinal cord injury units.I performed assessments, administered oral/IV/injectable medications, administered tube feedings, initiated IV's and performed blood draws for lab work, wound care, and PICC line care. I performed all general hands on nursing duties while collaborating with the therapy disciplines and patients to advance the patient's recovery and restore as much independent function as possible prior to their discharge from the rehabilitation unit.
