- Conduct onsite field audits to identify non-compliant situations related to OSHA, DOT, Fire Code, and EPA regulations for clients across the states of WA, ID, AK and occasionally CA - Conduct employee safety trainings with client employees and management teams, moderate safety committee meetings- Develop, implement, and monitor written safety programs to ensure continuous safe working conditions in accordance with State, Federal and Local laws and regulations to assist clients in achieving zero accident / lost time injuries - Assist with response to federal, state, and local inspections (i.e., OSHA, Local Fire Department, WA Dept of Ecology, Labor & Industries (L&I)) - Assist with and/or prepare various compliance documentation as needed (i.e. Tier II reporting, OSHA 300 logs, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ID numbers, and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasures Plans) - Report remotely to Team Supervisor and District Manager to communicate client needs

· Regularly perform training courses in occupational health, safety, and environmental topics. Including hazard communication/chemical hygiene, biological safety, Cal-OSHA compliance, and RCRA/Title 22 hazardous waste management· Perform informal audits/assessments of client’s sites to assess compliance and effectiveness of health, safety, and environmental programs and management systems· Evaluate COVID safety planning and develop safety programs · Develop respiratory protection programs and conduct quantitative/qualitative fit testing. · Update company training materials and electronic reminder data-base· Maintain environmental permits using CERS (California Environmental Reporting System)· Update and maintain client chemical inventories, SDS’s, and FPB-500 Chemical Classification Reports.· Generate and maintain client written health & safety programs.· Report to the President and project managers for client support.

· Develop SOPs for proper extraction of persistent organic pollutant traces from consumables (chips, nuts) and biological samples (human blood plasma and stool)· Followed and tailored QuEChERS method to extract and examine pesticide residues in biological samples· Develop methods and operate Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) to analyze trace compounds of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) found in samples · Perform maintenance on GC/MS including column cutting, ion source cleaning, liner changing and adjusted methods through troubleshooting on MassHunter for biological and consumable matrices· Analyze farmworker exposures in blood plasma and stool to POPs including pesticides, PCBs, PBDEs, and DDT· Create calibration standard solutions for pesticide and fungicide analysis· Aid in sample preparation focused on solid phase extraction (SPE) of stormwater collected following the Napa Valley fires of 2017· Quickly mastered basic lab techniques following detailed SOPs and revised SOPs for clarity for future students · Mastered operation of gel permeation chromatography (GPC) through PrepLinc software· Work independently and in groups on various sample preparation projects including breast milk analysis, blood plasma analysis, and dust analysis · Work on measurements of environmental hazards in house dust, surface wipes, finger wipes regarding thirdhand smoke (tobacco smoke residue in indoor environments) for exposure assessment and source investigation · Efficiently train and oversee other students in teams of 2-4 in standard lab techniques such as pipetting, disinfecting glassware, and following given SOPs
