Oversee General Ledger Accounting, Consolidations, and monthly/quarterly reporting

•Responsible for overseeing and managing the monthly and quarterly consolidations of financials results and internal quarterly reporting requirements to assist in complying with both internal and external reporting needs. •Special projects have included: Adoption of Fresh Start Accounting as a result of emergence from bankruptcy Restatement of the consolidations database as well as financial statements for discontinued operations. Integrating a new acquired company, Russell Hobbs, into our financial reporting systems. •Preparation of the quarterly Board of Director’s financial presentation for the company’s CFO and well as financial tables to be included in the company’s earnings releases. •Also in charge of executing improvement projects in the areas of the consolidations system, internal reporting, and information flows to the external auditors. •Serving as liaison between Corporate Finance and other departments/divisions to resolve issues and proactively solve problems.
