Responsible for training 17 headquarter and deployed field staff on how to use and maintain the grants management system, creation of all training materials for grantees, and conducting training on the system for all applicable users. • Managed the entire process of creating an operational plan for a $30 million portfolio; responsibilities included training staff on operational plan process, monitoring and evaluation plan creation, and collecting data. This resulted in the production of an annual managerial report that described the outcomes of the international programming portfolio each year. • Engaged in annual award process by reviewing grant applications, project budgets, financial reports, project narrative reports, and mid-year review process. After all applications were reviewed, grants were awarded to implementing organizations, in the country of implementation, resulting in $17 million disbursement. • Co-developed gender-justice strategy for all international programming, including current project review, gender-justice focused work, creation of regional objectives, monitoring and evaluation. Process resulted in $30 million portfolio allocation giving priority to programs and projects with a focus on gender-justice.
