Work closely with sales team to help merchandise line for market appointments to present to buyers. Model dresses for approval and showroom appointments. Study runway shows and travel to Paris and London for inspiration and trend research. Work closely with Senior Designer to purchase and design exclusive prints for the line. Work with both local and overseas fabric vendors to create unique product and continually research new, exciting fabric qualities.Communicate daily with overseas factories while managing in-house sample room. Provide direction for drapers, cutters, and sewers to create desired product. Oversee sample tracking and balance workflow between our in-house team, local, and overseas factories to maximize efficiency.Work closely with production department to ensure design requirements for bulk production orders. Involved in entire process from creating technical packs for garments to bulk fittings.
