I supervised/worked with 2 other guys that run a total of 3 landfill gas to energy turbines here in Concord, NC. Together we started, stopped, and maintained these turbines. These turbines run on landfill gas and turn generators. The power that is produced is sold to Duke Energy.

I was stationed aboard the submarine USS Seawolf where I was qualified Electrical Operator where I controlled power distribution throughout the entire ship and Shutdown Reactor Operator where I maintained control over a shutdown nuclear reactor. I was also stationed at Naval Prototype Training Unit Ballston Spa, NY where I was an instructor. I taught young adults both Navy and civilians how to operate a nuclear reactor. I also taught the same people electrical theory. I was also the electrical training petty officer where I scheduled events and ensured all of the electrician students were performing their qualifications as required in order to graduate on time. I was also a large part in upgrading a vital reactor protection system. I received many awards for the positions I held in the Navy including two Navy achievement medals.
