Responsible for all aspects of library operations and functions, for advocating for the library, and meeting the requirements of the Library Board, the community, and the staff. Supervise administrative Library staff. Plan, develop, administer, and evaluate all library services in support of the mission of the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library. Budget preparation and oversight of all library expenditures. Responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation throughout all Library services. Direct oversight of Staff Training, Library Archive, Outreach, Marketing, and Grant Development activities for the Library. Maintain contact with the community & library leaders regarding library services and collaborative efforts, as well as contact with other library directors to plan and discuss services as well as future trends. Work includes planning and implementing The Grundy Foundation’s short-term and long-range goals and oversight of staff and services. Work in partnership with the Foundation’s Executive Director regarding budget, policy and facility issues.
