When I taught my first Walt Whitman class on Outschool in early 2019, I thought it would be a nice little side gig. That "gig" has morphed into a career of writing, literature, and vocabulary classes, both on Outschool and on other international platforms. I teach everything from parts of speech and simple sentences to complex essays, with a ton of fun creative writing classes tossed into the curriculum mix. Over the past three years, I have taught more than 3,000 students from 70+ countries. I am experienced in working with students who have learned English as a second (or third or fourth!) language. I develop all of my own curriculum, and I'm always open to working with new platforms and organizations.
