Responsible for scribing, programming, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Degree Works and other, peripheral applications such as Student Educational Planner, Transfer Equivalency Self-Service, and Athletic Eligibility. Act as main scribe and technical lead for setup and implementation of Degree Works. Utilize command line access to add/modify scripts and config files, make localization changes, deploy executable files, and perform other various troubleshooting and setup tasks. Perform upgrades and testing to various Ellucian products for compatibility with Banner modules and other campus software. Coordinate with Admissions on best practice for coding and articulating transfer students in Banner. Represent the interests of the Registrar in various committees that coordinate technical projects being employed on campus. Provide technical expertise to other Registrar staff, including setting up printers, scanners, laptops, and desktop computers. Responsible for setup and maintenance of Registrar-owned computer lab. Editing and maintaining of the departmental website. Backup for approval of Banner security profiles, 25Live room scheduling software, and Classroom Technology Committee. Management of four registrar staff members from Room-Scheduling and Graduations. Work closely with Graduations to decide how the catalog should be interpreted and how to incorporate requirements into Degree Works.

In charge of IT/MIS department for the academy and was responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing/troubleshooting all electronic equipment including servers (Windows, Novell), desktop computers, laptops, printers, cameras, phones, barcode scanners, and other various office and classroom equipment. Position involves advanced troubleshooting of software and hardware issues, data manipulation and retrieval, access control, file management, server and network configuration and maintenance, web-design and maintenance, and security control. The position had many tasks and responsibilities such as large projects that improved on the current processes of the academy. These projects include implementation of an inventory management system, redesign of the academy website, significant changes in file management and naming conventions, creating advanced excel apps for accounting purposes, and implementation of new computers, servers, and switches for a 32 unit office and 28 unit computer lab. Was responsible for ordering equipment through state contracts, teaching software and network navigation to staff, designing documents, forms, and certificates, maintaining personal student information, and maintaining databases that collected student, staff, program, and training information for the academy
