Lead Architect
CurrentResponsible for the overall management of the design process from initial concept sketches through to execution by : • Working with the client to develop architectural solutions from concept stage through schematic design - with input through construction documentation.• Work closely to ensure that the design is clearly communicated for a successful delivery• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.• Prepare concept designs and specifications, space plans, presentations, as well as working on design development and construction drawings • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions which are in budget.• Working on graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.• Positive and enthusiastic approach to presenting design concepts both internally and externally to the clients.• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.• Coordinate with other engineering design disciplines as needed.• Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.• Mentor junior team members.• Weekly site visits to supervise the construction process. • Provide shop drawings when needed.
