Over the last 40 years I have worked in the field of education, including pre-K to college. In 2011 I retired from Greeley-Evans School District 6 as the Chief Academic Officer and started my own consulting business, Improvement Strategies LLC. In this capacity I have assisted schools and districts in the development of their Unified Improvement Plans (UIPs), specializing in data analysis, root cause analysis and action planning. I have developed tools and resources to assist with this process. In 2012 I began working part time with the Colorado Department of Education in the Unified Improvement Planning Unit.Specialties: Data analysis, school improvement planning, curriculum alignment, assessment development, and instructional planning (face-to-face and online).
