Having the right team at the right time is critical to our operational success, and this role works to help managers ensure optimal organizational structure, accurately defined job expectations, effective labor usage, and active performance management throughout the organization.
Human Resources Associate
Provide consistent administration of human resources activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as University policies and bargaining unit contracts. Deliver a full range of transactional and HRIS support and assist in providing consultative support to an assigned group of units within the organization. Human Resources Payroll Assistant
As a member of the School of Hotel Administration's Human Resource Services Staff, the Human Resource and Payroll Assistant will provide administrative, reception and transactional support. Human Resource duties will include: process Workday business processes, assist with the recruiting process using Taleo applicant software, administer the appointment process for new hires in coordination with the on-boarding center, maintain electronic personnel files, and assist with employee relations events as necessary. Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Housing, provide diverse and complex administrative and operational support for the housing assignments and summer housing units, with an emphasis on customer service. Perform a variety of duties in support of service to students using independent judgement in applying and adapting departmental guidelines, policies and procedures. Provide customer service and assistance to students, parents, prospective customers and university staff members in person and via phone, e-mail, and online chatting.
