While earning my undergraduate degree in Public Health with a focus on Health Education, I became captivated by the potential of emerging technology to address significant gaps in an outdated public health system. As I pursued my Master of Public Health (MPH), my focus shifted entirely to technology, recognizing its transformative power to drive innovation and improve lives.For two and a half years, I honed my skills at a fast-paced blockchain technology startup, working in digital marketing and leveraging my passion for professional and technical writing to create impactful content. My enthusiasm for emerging tech and public health continues to fuel my drive to educate individuals, businesses, and organizations about the countless opportunities technology offers to enhance our collective future.Currently, I work at RarusMed as a Patient Advocate and Project Manager. RarusMed is a health education company with two dynamic branches: RarusCE, dedicated to healthcare providers, and RarusGalaxy, supporting patients and families. Together, they form a comprehensive rare disease education ecosystem, navigating rare frontiers and illuminating extraordinary lives. For people with rare diseases and disorders, and the healthcare providers who serve them, RarusMed fosters a synergy of shared knowledge and compassion, paving the way to a brighter, more informed, and connected future.On a personal note, I was born, raised, and still reside in beautiful Tampa, Florida. As someone living with a rare disease, and with a sister who also has a rare disease, I am a passionate advocate for the rare disease community. I actively work to raise awareness and support for individuals navigating these challenges.I am also a proud member of the Krewe of Ybor, an avid art lover, and an active organizer of neighborhood clean-ups in Ybor City.
