From the beginning I've had the wildly earnest and indefatigable belief that I was put here to give my all and make a difference. Early on I realized I could multiply my impact by inspiring others to give their all, too. First as a fundraiser for good causes, and later as CEO of a fast growing business, I’ve championed the missions of nonprofit organizations and purpose-driven companies alike. I’ve raised millions of dollars in revenues and motivated leaders and teams to seize big opportunities and go beyond what they thought was possible.I know what it takes to effect change in organizations, as well as the personal toll that leadership can take. I have walked in the shoes of the overstretched and under-supported nonprofit leader. I’ve been a CEO who knows the weight of making tough decisions and also the loneliness of being siloed at the top.It’s common for leaders–especially women, who take on so much–to feel stuck. Fresh energy and creative thinking can go a long way to regaining traction and forward momentum.
