My past experience graduating from Architecture school gave me the framework on how to produce through the design process and iterations, my life experience gave me insight on how much of an extrovert I am, getting a thrill from more and more quality human connection and impact. I am based in LA but originally hail from the middle of America, Denver. I have a great love for travel, soulful music and I care deeply about human potential and making the most of what we have - even when it begins as not much. This year, I began the switch from the building and construction industry to the tech industry. Here is my work through all of that so far. BRAND STATEMENT: As a UX Engineer, I seek to contribute cohesion to the current discrepancies I have seen between the two contending roles (essentially, art versus science, designer versus developer or as seen in my previous role as an Architect versus engineers). I believe that with Front-End coding knowledge, solutions are better curated as design constraints and abilities are determined and understood early on. This role also allows for one united vocabulary in the important conversations design and construction collaboration. I am professionally motivated by progressive bodies of work that are curious enough to push the envelope for what else is possible beyond the typical norm or what has already been seen before - realistic yet unconventional products and solutions. Bridging my design abilities with Front-End coding knowledge eliminates certain unnecessary nuances which makes space for more revelation to be possible.
