Established systems chemical biology group building, a team with expertise in Statistics, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, & Biology. Team had global responsibility for strategies and support of Discovery Research to: (a) Identify and develop methods for integrating ‘omics, in vivo and in vitro data to develop testable biological hypotheses; (b) identify the associations between compound activity profiles, phenotypes and signaling pathways through analysis of compound profiling data.-Developed and implemented methods for data integration and analyses to use phenotypic, biomarker, and RNA expression profiling data to drive progression and chemistry decisions in target-to-candidate programs. -Partnered with scientific programming and software development groups in Cheminformatics to develop desktop software applications from concepts or tools prototyped in analysis work. Production releases included an interactive visualization tool for graphs, networks and pathways, and a database and application for the annotation of phenotypic assays via controlled vocabularies.

Built data infrastructure, and team of expert analysts for decision making on compound, target, and program progression. Provided informatics interface and support for Tsukuba Japan site.-Supported projects in kinases, ion channels, GPCRs, nuclear receptors, proteases, providing HTS analysis, SAR/QSAR, multivariate methods, template design, classification methods, library design, and high-throughput chemistry desktop tools. -Provided scientific leadership and/or project management in numerous software and infrastructure projects for data access and analysis. This included the design, prototyping and implementation of data processing, integration, analysis, and visualization for discovery wide compound profiling capability.
