I am a Senior Researcher at Clean Air Asia where I provide technical assistance to air quality management and climate change mitigation projects, with focus on clean air action plan development and implementation. I also lead and/or support the conduct of related capacity building and stakeholder engagement activities of Clean Air Asia. Through various projects, I have or am currently working with various countries including the Philippines (La Trinidad, Baguio City, Quezon City, Pasig City, Manila City, Parañaque City, and Las Piñas City), Mongolia (Erdenet), Vietnam (Can Tho, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Vinh Yen), Bangladesh (Faridpur), Pakistan (Sialkot and Peshawar), Indonesia, Thailand, Lao PDR, and Cambodia. These projects are funded by city governments, C40, Ministry of Environment Japan, 3M Global, UPS, ClimateWorks Foundation, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). I am also a licensed chemist, with a bachelor's and master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines Diliman. My graduate research work was primarily focused on particulate matter and aerosol studies. Prior to Clean Air Asia, I was a college chemistry laboratory instructor, teaching analytical and organic chemistry, and a University Research Associate from 2012 to 2019 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
