Providing Operational Readiness project management at Siemens

Project Manager in Network Services. Responsible for managing and implementing projects affecting the LAN, WAN, Servers, Workstations and related systems at ASG. Implemented client server, call recording solution at 6 call centers. Implemented Kronos time and attendance system across 4 divisions, representing 50+ US offices for 10,000+ employees. Built infrastructure for new offices in York, UK and Frankfort, Germany. Developed procedures that successfully moved 900 employees and their network hardware into the new corporate campus in 1998. Administrator for Netware and OS/2 environment. Successfully migrated 1200 user ID's from LanServer to Novell in two weekends. Developed procedures for the creation and management of Lotus Notes user accounts. Migrated the Lotus Notes server from version 4.0 to 4.5. Implemented procedures to report status updates on priority 1 outages. Migrated email for 800 users from Groupwise to Lotus Notes R5 in 2000.

Premium Project Leader for the Ford Credit Life implementation. Responsible for the design and testing of all premium and related systems for the Ford credit life program. Security Officer for the premium and claim systems. Designed all system changes to meet Ford requirements. Developed a dealer billing system for the premium systems. Developed all processes and procedures for the premium department. Performed training for the employees and implemented the program.

Technical Supervisor of the premium department for Union Security Life Insurance Co. Responsibilities included: day-to-day operations; security officer for premium, claims, mortgage and credit card systems; implementation of automated clients, working with all levels of the clients’ business and technical staff; coordinate and performed system changes related to client migrations; design and implement premium system changes as dictated by business needs. Designed the rewrite of the Sales Tracking systems, which eliminated reruns, reduced operating expense and improved the accuracy of client reports. Implemented automated job request system to expedite client tape handling.

Claims Examiner for the Credit Life program. Reviewed and adjudicated credit life, disability and unemployment claims for the standard and credit card program. Additional duties include design, test and implement system changes of the claims system working with the programming staff. Changed automated follow-up process, reducing examiner workload by 50%. Claim representative for the MVS conversion, performing all testing and sign-off on all claim programs. Enhanced letter writing function in claims system. Maintained highest claim volume and accuracy rating in the department while spending 35-40% of my daily activity at additional duties
