I am a recent graduate student who is a passionate and multi-disciplinary environmental professional specializing in wetlands, arboricultural consulting, and report writing with more than 6 years of experience. Currently, I perform full service delineations of natural resource features for avoidance and occasionally jurisdictional determination as a part of a team. This includes direct involvement in Field Map creation, resource delineation, desktop mapping, and report writing. Final products are then disseminated to relevant government agencies, stakeholders, and client(s) as necessary. My education experiences include obtaining a Masters in Forest Resources and Conservation with a concentration in wetland sciences. Additionally, I have a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Analysis and an additional Graduate Certificate in Wetland and Water Resources. My research focused on the remote sensing of wetlands in a flatwoods landscape to develop better locate wetlands as compared to the National Wetlands Index. My goal is to combine my passions for wetlands and trees to work in an environmental field position where I can leverage my experience as an arborist to assist clients with their tree needs while refining and honing my wetland experience. Longer term, I would love to further develop my sales skills to become a project manager and help bridge the gap between client desires and environmental regulations. I am currently looking for work that would allow me to gain experience in wetland delineation/remediation and explore project management.
