In my current role, I support Elevate Destination's clients, global non-profits and foundations, to plan the back-end logistics of their international donor trips. I communicate with clients, their travelers, international partners and suppliers, progressing all aspects of trips so that our clients can focus their efforts on cultivating donor relationships and fundraising. This includes supporting travelers throughout their journey; providing comprehensive traveler support to set realistic expectations and answer any travel-related questions or concerns. Additionally, I research and develop supporting materials for trips including country guides, detailed itineraries and online portals.

As an on-site Program Advisor, I served as a liaison to connect SEGA Girls' Secondary School, a Tanzanian boarding school for girls, and its partner, Nurturing Minds. By connecting these two entities, I collaboratively designed programs to drive impact. The programs I designed and managed included the school's visitor engagement and cultural exchange programs, the on-campus Guesthouse (SEGA Lodge), the development and implementation of an in-country fundraising and partnership-building initiative.Additionally, I developed and improved on systems to streamline the school’s monitoring and evaluation processes to provide donors with statistics that depict the impact of its programs. Working with each department at the school, I compiled and reported on data for the Annual Report Card; a detailed document that measures 94 targets across six different programs to reflect the school’s social impact.

* Coordinated all communications between the school and sponsors. I also developed weekly written, photographic, and video presentations on day-to-day events at the school for publishing on social media, distribution to donors, and public relations. Additionally, I coordinated and managed logistics for visits of sponsors, donors, and other visitors.* Developed and managed the school's new Library and Media Center, including policies for its running, data collection and books management system. I also planned, organized and reported on various school trips. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating volunteers and for coordinating other special programs at the school such as school exchange visits with schools from the U.S. and intensive English Fluency programs involving hosting groups of overseas residential visitors/volunteers and donors.* Collected, compiled and reported on monitoring and evaluation data related to the school’s performance for donors.

My role with Partners in Health was very diverse. I supported three different teams with their budgeting, financial reporting and procurement of resources and IT software. I managed and coordinated IT requests for the whole organization. I also supported the fundraising and development teams by managing the general info email account and updating donor databases. Towards the end of my internship, I coordinated a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program with Trip Advisor.

During my six-month internship with EF College Break (EFCB), I communicated with clients through the company's social media page, email, and over the phone. I promoted various tour packages and benefits to potential customers, matching their needs with EFCB's products.
