Performs programming duties at the systems level, ensuring all program development is appropriate, including front-end research and definition. Develops an understanding of assignments including the business application, in order to either assist in making solution-oriented recommendations or advising on program/systems-related problems. Researches, designs, defines, develops, tests, documents and implements new computer applications or changes to existing applications following Western & Southern Financial Group (W&SFG) standards. Collect, document, and analyze business requirements and appropriately as a facilitator and/or contributing member on a team to determine most efficient/effective technical solution. Design, code, unit test, maintain, and document technical solutions of moderate/high complexity. Prepare technical documentation for the implementation and support of new/modified solutions which adhere to development and change management standards. Advance the maturity of the environment by researching and implementing new tools and technologies. Work directly with internal and client users to gain an understanding of their business processes to turn those requirements into applications. Support, adhere to, and maintain current software development standards and methodologies. Utilize development tools necessary for database and application development. Collaborate with management personnel and senior staff on vision and direction of the environment with regard to architecture, technology stack, and processes. Work with the Human Resource department to resolve all issues with the Employee Master Data Table.

Build/deploy laptops for all technicians. Install Windows and integrate all essential additional software (Linde, Jungheinrich, MCFA). Configure activation of all software serial numbers. Deploy, integrate and troubleshoot next-generation systems in the Digital Broadband Delivery System (DBDS) environment and on settop box (STB) applications. Provide support for systems deployment including in-depth troubleshooting of the DBDS (SA and Motorola Headends). Provide critical support for systems deployment including debugging using Java, XML, Shell Scripts, Oracle and SQL Server under Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
