Student Support Services And Experienced Educator
As an experienced special needs educator(K-12) and early childhood educator (K), my various roles included: supervising, training, and mentoring multiple teams of Certified Teaching Assistants ( CEA’s), collaborating with fellow teachers to provide training, curricular adaptation, and mentorship to support the emotional and curricular needs of the students on my caseload, sat as a member of the School-Based Team, developing individual education plans (IEP), developing local curriculum, monitors and assesses academic progress using data and reports, created a lifeskills and workplace skills training program, supporting parents by providing life coaching, assisting parents in applying for government funding, case- managing all professionals involved in the educational plan for each student, piloting and implementing e-learning platforms and direct instruction of students with various disabilities and behavioral challenges in the K-12 environment.
