My main passion is making a difference and helping others, which have caused me to pursue several different careers, and a couple of degrees, in the last 15 years. Wether it is coaching tennis (which I have done for 17 years), teaching H.S and enriching the youth’s minds, or treating patients as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with the main goal of safely discharging them home, I am 100% dedicated to making sure the people I come into contact with on a daily basis are better off after our interaction. Although I loved my job as an OTA, a series of unexpected events led me to where I am now as an Oncology Sales Specialist at Genoptix, where I have the incredible opportunity to offer quality diagnostics to Oncologists for the accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment of their patients. With Cancer being near and dear to my family, as I am sure it is to most families these days, ensuring not only prompt but proper treatment is the fuel that keeps me going. When I am not working, I am coaching tennis, traveling the world, discovering new cuisines to satisfy my hunger and curiosity for new cultures, exercising or spending time with my dogs (both mutt rescues) Cooper & Nina. I also volunteer with different organizations throughout the year including the American Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels and the Open Partnership Education Network (OPEN). Being from South America, coffee runs through my veins so, if you find a coffee house in town, there is a high chance I have already been to it, yet I would love to connect with you over a cup of hot Java and exchange stories!
