Key achievements:•Designed, built, and implemented an online Global Talent Management System, automating the manual performance review process to a full-service portal to support immediate employee feedback, real-time goal setting, and increase communication on performance between manager and employee.•Led Executive Team in the annual review, preparation, and administration of Opus One's annual compensation and bonus program.•Provided guidance, coaching, and support to the Executive Team and Managers regarding employee relations issues, performance management, interpretation of employment laws and Opus One policies and procedures.•Redesigned employee onboarding experience to reflect the culture and values of Opus One.•Created company-wide Culture Statement and HR Department Mission, Vision, and Values as guiding principles for Opus One as a culture and expectations for the HR Department.

Built HR function from scratch upon arrival in 2003. When I started in this position, Opus One had 30 employees (no agricultural) and minimal structure and policies except a payroll system. I built the department from scratch, adding 20 vineyard employees in 2005 and up to 100 throughout 5 countries by 2019.Key Achievements:•Manage all aspects of employee health benefit and wellness plans, including renewal negotiations, compliance and communications. Negotiated <10% increases for most years for a top-tier plans without increase to employee premiums since 2001.•Coordinate and execute setup of all HR functions for Opus One International office in Bordeaux, Japan, Hong Kong and China, including representative office setup, payroll, benefits, and global employee relations. •Responsible for modeling global annual labor budget. •Provide employee relations support, ensuring compliance to company practices as well as state and federal employment law. •Manage workers’ compensation program to ensure aggressive claim management. Maintained X-MOD average of 88 for the last 10 years.•Designed and implemented a comprehensive online HR resource portal via Sharepoint for HR and managers to effectively align programs, policies, and practices to organization needs. •Managed implementation of two HRIS and payroll systems on time and within budget.
