I am very passionate about software and game development, and I'm always eager to learn and expand my knowledge. I have experience working fully remote, with fluid communication and high productivity.I graduated with two higher education degrees in the IT and programming field.Some key skills learned include: object-oriented programming (Java), web development (HTML, CSS, JS), cross-platform development (Windows & Android), game development (vb.net & Android), databases (DBMS, SQL...), markdown languages (XML), operating systems (Windows & Linux) and general software development (Java & vb.net).For the last two years of my degrees, I undertook two internships: The first one was at Inforcerdanya S.L., an IT company based on Puigcerdà. I worked as an IT technician for a year, where I was able to improve upon and create solutions adapted to the needs of the company (f.e.: designing a database management system and creating a website).The second one took place at SpacePal EU, a company based on Belgium. I worked 100% remotely during 3 months on their most important project: SewerMapper (sewermapper.com), a multisensor scanner and online platform to update, consult and exchange manhole and pipe information. I quickly grasped the structure of the project and completely revamped the source code to utilise OOP, UML and Git, learning Python and data processing algorithms in the process.After finishing my studies and having experienced these two internships, I additionally completed a postgraduate course in 2D videogame programming at the UOC (Open University of Catalonia), with the key skills including: C# OOP programming, 2D Unity development, multiplatform game development (Windows, Linux, Android & WebGL), key videogame elements (UI, player controller, graphics and lightning, physics and collision, animations, camera, etc...), artificial intelligence and AI state machine.I also completed a course in Backend Web Development at CIFO, with the key skills including: PHP OOP programming, MVC pattern, Ajax technology, Laravel framework and REST API.I can speak multiple languages proficiently: Spanish and Catalan (native) and English (advanced). I'm also learning Japanese.I am currently working as a Junior Software Developer at Airplane Solutions.
