Engaged in impactful research during my internship at the Chemical Sciences Department and Bernal Institute at the University of Limerick, where I operated within two key projects. Specializing in catalysis, I played a critical role in synthesizing magnetic nanoparticles, working hands-on in the lab and utilizing various analytical tools. Additionally, I contributed to a project for the Dairy Processing Technology Centre (DPTC), focusing on innovative approaches to dairy waste management. This experience allowed me to enhance my skills in laboratory techniques, such as compound detection and quantification. My ability to use analytical tools independently has helped me work well with interdisciplinary teams, advancing the fields of catalysis and the sustainable management of dairy waste.
