Bridge International Christian Academy (BICA) is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization that seeks to rebuild broken communities and renew the next generations through a biblical worldview learning community. BICA offers Christian, multicultural, and multilingual education to bridge their own ethnic community and other ethnic groups present in the US, including the North Korean refugee youth and adults in need of help learning English.- Full-time mathematics teacher at the academy focused on local high school students, especially the students in low-income and who do not have easy access to private education outside of school- Promote self-directed learning to the students so that they can proactively recall their lessons and have better memory retains- Facilitate group study method between the peers and assist them with any challenges- Guide students with healthy study routines throughout the long class time, fostering a growth mindset and study-break intervals- Aid communication between the students and volunteers, parents, and other teaching staff members
