As a remote worker, I foster relationships and partnerships with the business, human resources, and IT leaders. I am accountable for process documentation, strategy planning, as well as the development and delivery of various compliance and vendor management functions. I coordinate the onboarding of staff, and ensure all remote team members receive timely communications. I travel to our core office in California frequently to provide relationship building and training as needed. I am responsible to advocate for the business partners across cuLearn, as we work in an Agile environment. I maintain and have responsibility to our metrics and goal management. I collaborate daily with Thrivent Financial leaders to ensure continuity and consistency of brand and experience.

I spent a short but enjoyable stint working closely with the onboarding of new financial service associates. I created training material and provided on-site visits to provide said training and gather valuable feedback for potential program changes. With an entire structure change, the role was unfortunately eliminated.

I was responsible for the design, development and implementation of capacity building services for financial associates across the country. I provided leadership and training to a staff of 50 call center representatives, and transformed a costly service center of 1.2 million dollars, into a revenue generating department in 12 months. With effective marketing and relationship building, my focused efforts lead to a 99% retention level in staff, and 3.2 million dollars in assets retained.

I have provided leadership to various departments within Thrivent Financial, including Project Management, Customer Data Support, and Change Management. I began my journey to obtain my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in 2005, with the successful achievement to Black Belt status in 2009. Notable achievements include a 20% increase in quality, a 32% reduction in cycle time, and 1.2 million dollars in annual cost savings within the customer service facing units.
