I joined Mayway as a project manager focused on vendor management for their new eCommerce website. My role has evolved to include a variety of tasks with most of my efforts in eCommerce and digital marketing. My general marketing knowledge has assisted Mayway with the launch of a new eCommerce and ERP system along with setting up basic marketing automation. I've been heavily involved in copywriting including drafting original content and editing content from others such as advertising, social media, articles, packaging copy, newsletter, retailer trainings, sell sheets, and tradeshow material. As the main webinar moderator, I oversee the technical requirements for continuing education courses broadcast to hundreds of acupuncturists. My webinar role shifted to instructor when I created and taught a new course targeting acupuncturists where I taught them tips for driving traffic to their websites and clinics. I entered Mayway with no knowledge of Chinese medicine and have become a believer and fan of the company and the products.

As a part-time contractor for Genacom, a digital marketing agency, I supported clients in their website and online marketing goals. My main tasks included client needs assessment and scoping, technical writing of functional project blueprints, project budgeting, wireframe creation, and client management. Beyond project management, I also assisted clients with digital marketing planning and created detailed social media calendars, oversaw influencer marketing programs, and managed social media accounts for large supplement businesses. The larger projects ranged in budget from $20k-$500k with a variety of programming requirements spanning complex eCommerce websites to mobile application development. The variety of work was stimulating and I loved watching clients' visions come to life.

As Manager of the Interactive team, I oversaw 10 eCommerce websites, 45 brand and promotional websites, mobile campaigns, and iPad apps. My team was responsible for social strategies for 12 wine brands and we received 3 awards for website projects where I fully managed the scoping, specification, design, build, and launch for promotional websites. I was heavily involved with Direct to Consumer initiatives as well as campaigns to support B2B for retail and on premise accounts. I created and edited copy for social media, promotional emails, national promotional campaigns, and supporting sales materials. I supervised copy written by my team and reviewed copy created by other marketing departments. Projects included Beringer's Great Steak Challenge, Beringer's Million Meals Campaign (website and Facebook App), Beringer & Michael Buble Promotional website, iPad apps for Etude, Stags' Leap and Beringer. I also worked with the Innovation team for new product launches such as Sledgehammer Wine, Vin Parfait, Emma Pearl, and Be Wines including website, social strategy, mobile strategy, and retail strategy.

In my early years as an employee of Genacom, I managed a team of 20 employees and contractors handling Digital Marketing and Custom Web Application projects. Our clients ranged from start-up to enterprise level companies of varying project complexities for brands and businesses. Projects included creating a 21 language website for the Google "clickthrough" class action suit with a 3 week timeline, building a new branded website experience for Jacuzzi, creating an interactive eCommerce site for Tyra Banks, working with Verio to support their web project clients, and multiple projects for Beringer Wines. We launched more than 200 websites during the 5 years I worked for Genacom including eCommerce, Social, Financial eBusiness solutions as well as innovative marketing campaign sites with project budgets as high as $500K. I was the main contact for most clients from needs assessment to project completion handling all communication to the development team. Wearing multiple hats, I was sales, marketing, and project manager all rolled into one.

At Verio, I was the top selling Sales Engineer in the Professional Services Group for website development. I conducted needs assessment, specification writing, proposal/contract creation, project management of vendors, and customer management.
