I joined WAY Capital in June 2022, as the Director of Marketing/Research. I was responsible for developing and driving the firm’s comprehensive marketing strategy as well as oversight of all day-to-day marketing activities. My role encompassed strategic planning, brand management, market research, strengthening relationships with capital providers, spearheading industry and company events, website development, public relations, and social media.Founded in 2022, on the idea of community and collaboration, Way Capital’s name reflects its methodology. As the Vice President of Research/Marketing, I worked with all the Principals and their teams as well as the independent brokers to customize personal marketing and business development strategies. I maintained lender relationships across the capital markets and shared information internally.Founded in 1992, George Smith Partners is a leading national real estate investment banking firm that specializes in arranging middle-market financing for commercial and multifamily properties, including acquisition, construction, bridge and permanent loans, as well as mezzanine loans, highly leveraged participating loans and joint venture equity. The company has arranged more than $45 billion in financing since its inception.

I was responsible for marketing and business development at Arixa Capital Advisors, LLC, a real estate investment manager and fund operator focused on balance sheet lending to developers who purchase, renovate and resell single family homes in California. Arixa specializes in making loans on homes that will sell for $2-$6 million upon completion and funds these loans from investment vehicles catering to high net worth individuals and institutional investors.Arixa identifies investments that will yield attractive returns while maintaining the maximum margin of safety for itself and its co-investors. Arixa focuses on single family homes, but it also lends on office, apartment, shopping center, and industrial projects. Arixa’s geographic focus is California.

I provided administrative assistance to the CEO, internal team and multiple consultants. My responsibilities included coordination of appointments, meetings, domestic/international travel arrangements, conference calls, special events, and private parties, drafting all correspondence, proposals and contracts to meet CEO’s specifications, accounting; managing employee payroll, processing accounts payable, maintaining budget control and finalized monthly budget reports, maintained personnel files, updated attendance/vacation records and processed new hire paperwork.

I provided administrative support for SVP, in the form of calendar management, travel planning, and expense tracking, extensive spreadsheet creation and presentation preparation, screened/directed a high volume of telephone calls and greeted clients.NOTE: FOLLOWED SVP WHO LEFT KB HOME TO FORM LANDSTONE COMMUNITIES

I organized an Annual National Product Launch Meeting, Annual Sales Team Award Dinner and regional sales meetings. I worked with team of three administrators for curriculum design, planning and coordination of event. I was responsible for booking the transportation, entertainment, food & beverage planning, gift and incentive selection.

As an Assistant Manager, I supervised and managed staff of ten, planned and executed in-store events – grand opening party (200 people), annual fashion show (150 people), quarterly -Friends and Family events (150 people), and daily in-store vendor events (30 people). I monitored daily, weekly and monthly sales result and communicated to staff members, assisted in achieving store’s sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses, informed and motivated staff to meet store goals and comply with all policies and procedures, ensured that merchandising concepts are set up and maintained at all times and completed all paperwork procedures properly and accurately.
