University Relations & Military Programs Coordinator
CurrentManages and optimizes our military hiring initiatives (American Corporate Partners, Hiring Our Heroes) ensuring they are efficient and align with SPA’s goals. Creates and executes outreach strategies to attract military talent and facilitate their smooth transition into SPA. Cultivates and nurtures relationships with top 20 universities. Plans and books college career fairs and hiring events. Responsible for ordering and managing SPA swag. Communicates with Talent Acquisition (TA) team about new opportunities and potential candidates. Oversees all aspects of SPA’s internship program from recruitment to hiring. Provides oversight on intern outings and other activities to enhance their experience. Coordinates Lunch & Learn sessions for more than 50 interns. Collaborates with managers across the company to design meaningful and challenging projects that align with interns’ academic and professional goals. Successfully recruited 33 SkillBridge Fellow/Externs to SPA during the 2023-2024 year. Assists the Hiring Managers in hiring Fellows into SPA fulltime employees.
