In 2020, school closings and Covid opened doors in Recruiting and Talent Acquisitions. It was a perfect fit because for years, I was responsible for staffing my assets...finding and keeping the right people so when schools closed in my county for over a year, I dusted off my resume and landed dynamic opportunities in Talent Acquisition on a contractual basis. This was valuable experience because I was able to focus on HR and Talent only and anyone who knows anything about Property Management knows you must be a master of a lot of things. I learned so much about the discipline and was a TA rockstar! What became even more glaringly obvious is that I really care about people/associates and I know for sure that when we take care of associates, they will go above and beyond and take care of us.
