Dana Pagar is a co-founder of Teachley, LLC with deep knowledge of educational software design, applied research, game design, young children's mathematical development and teaching and learning. At Teachley, Dana has been instrumental in raising and managing R&D grants from the US Department of Education, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health and private foundations. Teachley’s first app won an Apple Design Award (2014) for innovation in design.Previously, Dana developed software at Teachers College, Columbia University and designed and conducted usability and efficacy research in schools. She has taught in a range of settings and has conducted research for the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Columbia University.Dana graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University. She earned a teaching fellowship and Masters Degree from Smith College in Elementary Education and a PhD from Columbia University, where she studied young children’s mathematical development.
