Dana Pagliarulo is a Senior Manager of Perr&Knight’s Enterprise Software Solutions group. Dana brings a unique capability to his clients’ projects by bridging the gap between project management and technical leadership. His experience in software development, systems design and implementation assist in achieving his customers’ technology goals.Dana spent the first 15 years of his career as a Business Systems Consultant at StoneRiver (formerly Fiserv Insurance Solutions Group) where he specialized in insurance property and casualty rating for all lines of business. He principally managed and designed the company’s $1M lead Web Services based rating system utilizing Java technologies across multiple platforms and the ACORD XML framework. He has supported full functionality insurance back office applications offering policy administration, billing, claims, and ancillary services as well as designing, implementing and integrating with multiple web based point-of-sale applications. Dana introduced the company to utilization of off-shore resources for state-side project work. As a result, he developed the procedures and best practices used to expand the usage of remote staff members. He has spent a combined total of more than 6 months off-shore managing projects with teams of up to 60 members. Dana has succeeded in roles ranging from software developer, lead application designer, project manager and implementation specialist. Dana is a credentialed PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP®) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) and is an active member of both PMI and the PMI Phoenix Chapter. He also holds the Cum Laude honor from the Columbus State Community College earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Programming Technology.
