As I worked at Cleveland Home Title, I learned valuable real estate information that will be of great use in my future career as a real estate agent. My main role was to stay in contact with the sales representatives and retrieve purchase agreements from them. I would summarize the purchase agreements into a Word document and enter them into the Cleveland Home Title database. I worked during the busy season and order entry was my most important task to get done every day. Another important task I received while at Cleveland Home Title, was organizing tax and legal orders. Realtors that worked with Cleveland Home Title would ask for tax and legals on a specific property that their potential buyer was interested in. The tax and legal allowed me to summarize the tax history and other important information for the property and its surrounding area. Throughout my time at Cleveland Home Title, I had many opportunities to attend networking events with Cleveland Home Title sales representatives and real estate agents.

While being the marketing intern at Lorain Port Authority, I was exposed to the process of working for a nonprofit. I dove deep into research to fully understand the Port in order to update their website with previous projects, information, amenities, pictures, and more. I was able to organize the social events on their social media accounts and make fliers for each event. Attending social gatherings and festivals made it possible to take photos and update the social media pages almost daily. While balancing my work tasks, I would practice my customer service skills by answering phones, making reservations for boating events and helping the public when visiting the site.

Throughout my time at Heck's Cafe, I was able to gain customer service skills while assisting customers and servers. I gained time management skills while having to space out reservations in time, communication skills in order to help customers when needed, and organizational skills. I organized seating arrangements for servers, created the specials of the day menu and assisted in the distribution of tip money at the end of the shifts. I was in charge of answering phones to inform customers of any questions they had, while also taking to-go orders and reservations. It was necessary to multitask while on the job as I needed to aid in the help of customers and coworkers during busy dining hours.
